Gasthaus Thiermann in Sulingen

Big disappointment! We ordered outside the home and picked up the food on site. Staff was friendly. But we didn't like the food. The Jägerschnitzel was soaked in mushroom cream sauce - dear family Thiermann: extra packaging is not nice, but it is also less nice when the schnitzel is completely soaked through the whole sauce and then only tastes like porridge. A schnitzel has to be baked a nice golden brown - what I ate had nothing to do with a schnitzel, sorry! Also, taking canned beer and not using fresh mushrooms is weak. The butter vegetables were ok, but I expect fresh carrots here too - nobody has a problem with it if you take 50 cents more. But I don't eat out for canned carrots! The fries were okay, you can't say anything against that. Conclusion: the price is OK, but I would like to pay 1-2 euros more to get fresh things. I recommend packing the sauce separately, so the schnitzel was almost inedible. The food was unfortunately "takeaway level" and was not satisfactory. Please see this as criticism in order to optimize things and not as damage to your reputation or an insult. I know you can do better than that.

Super cozy guest house, which the landlord and his family really love. And the best is the kitchen especially the home cooking is the best. Also great prices, everything is just right. Because we work a lot on Mondays. We were particularly pleased about the good cuisine. Many thanks to the Thiermann family for everything. Kind regards FOCUS installation.

Beautiful ambience and pleasant management make the location a good handle for family celebrations

It was a very nice evening with super delicious food. Okay, I personally like the style of the 60s and 70s very much, and the look fits the restaurant perfectly 😊 The food was ready very quickly, and it was hot when it came to the table, only the drinks service could be improved a bit .... But overall I really have to say that it is just a small, rustic, cozy place with the typical charm is in the past and we will definitely go there again 👍👍

A small inn in the country. You enter the small pub, which is a relic from the 1960s. Yes, even if you don't expect it, you should order something to eat. The order is taken quickly, drinks, food and bills arrive quickly. I have been to eat many times and have never been disappointed. When the weather is good, it is worth going into the beautifully landscaped garden.

We celebrated our wedding there and were very satisfied, the good food, the great garden with pond just a wonderful day. Ok, we also had really great weather, but everything was just right.
